Kristen Falso-Capaldi is represented by Larissa Melo Pienkowski at Jill Grinberg Literary Management. She is the recipient of a 2018 Assets for Artists grant in creative writing. She is the winner of the Victoria Hudson Emerging Writer Prize, the Metaphysical Press New Voices Contest, and the Editors’ Pick Award in the Fabula Press 2015 Short Story Contest. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Good Housekeeping, Volume 1 Brooklyn, Joyland, Jenny Magazine, 3Elements Review, See the Elephant, Chicago Literati, Underground Voices and on The Other Stories Podcast. Her short play, Threshold debuted at the 2016 10-minute play festival at the Sandra Feinstein Gamm Theatre. She lives in Rhode Island, USA
Kristen also creates visual art and is a filmmaker. She is currently editing a short film, “You Weren’t Afraid at All,” which she wrote and directed.
